2.0:SRB2CB/Thing types/Thing type 441
Thing type 441, Flame Shield Monitor, is a monitor exclusive to SRB2CB that gives the player the Flame Shield upon its destruction. Unlike the other two SRB2CB-exclusive shields, this one is different from its Sonic 3 counterpart. When a player with this shield uses their double jump ability, they will leave a trail of flames as long as they are in mid-air. No flames will appear underwater, but the shield will be retained. It does not make the player invulnerable to fire-based attacks.
Checking the Ambush flag turns this monitor into a Weak Random Monitor. Checking the Special flag turns it into a Strong Random Monitor.
