2.0 talk:Emblem guide
Should I say this page should be for SRB2 help in general? I mean, people might also need help with the emeralds.

No. I created an emerald token page itself, so people looking for those can find them just fine. -Mystic 03:11, 16 April 2006 (CDT)
CE1 Emblem???
I (Revidnioc) am sure that the CE1 Emblem location for Sonic is inaccurate. From the official forums, the posts I read seem to refer to the fork in one of the caves up ahead, and I can't find the emblem at all following either of them.
And maybe there should be multi-screenshot (2 or 3) instead of just the one for every emblem; there isn't much use for the picture of ONLY the emblem location if it's in a hidden area that can't be seen (such as the CE1 cave).
The guide is perfectly acurate, I tried it. The entrance thats right above is accually a bit left.-Sonic blue
I double that that one is inaccurate, it says 'until some red springs' so i found some red springs, but they meant the 2nd set of red springs, not the first. - Neon-J
Splitscreen Cheat/Exploit
Should this really be mentioned? I would think the idea of this is to tell how and where to get to the emblems, not how to cheat to get them easily. It is already a spoiler enough as it is, so maybe it doesn't really matter though... JEV3 14:38, 1 November 2007 (PDT)
Tails GF2 Emblem?
I went to the secret room with Tails, but only found the mentioned 1-Up box and a blue tank enemy. I even tried the splitscreen cheat, and I still failed to find anything... any help?
That's actually the wrong room. Get to the top of the huge waterfall, and do a spindash jump, then fly to the LEFT. While you're flying very high, you should see an opening at the wall, and that's where the emblem is. It's tricky to actually get to, but it's possible. (I've done it myself, and I'm sure many other people have too.) -Gemini Spark
Knux's GF1 Emblem
I go bythe first Checkpoint and turn right, turn up at that house where you can get to the Red Volcano Zone, but no emblem. searched around it...still no emblem... - Neon-J
There should be a cliff for you to climb to the left of the house. Approach the house from the waterfall, and go past it to the left. You will see a wall to climb, and that's the one to climb to reach the emblem. -Gemini Spark
Kind of unrelated, but same IP address as me! With college networking, well, EVERYONE in BYU has the same external IP, which is kind of annoying. –SonicMaster 22:15, 18 March 2008 (PDT)
Emblem reorganization
I assume the links to the videos are temporary, and that we'll actually be putting in walkthroughs on HOW to get each emblem (and probably a screenshot/XYZ coordinates) sooner or later.
We should probably have an "Emblem Location" header on each of the SP stages that links back to the specific point on the emblem guide, too.
EDIT: Also, The video for ACZ1's Sonic emblem is not the "intended" path. Just to point that out. ~SpazzoTalk • Contribs 20:15, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Just to have some clarity: Should we remove the video links altogether now that we have descriptions, or should we leave them? --SpiritCrusher 19:29, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
I say yes, so that people can also see how they get there instead of just knowing the method. LightspeedX 21:02, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
The methods have been posted so that people know how to get there in the first place. That's what they were made for. --SpiritCrusher 09:54, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm now removing the videos, because
- they clutter up the page.
- they are of questionable quality.
- we actually have descriptions on the page.
If you think they should be on the page, please discuss it here. --SpiritCrusher 11:57, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
It took me forever to find Tails' GFZ2 emblem. There needs to be videos. --Modifier, player, and most other things - SML9999 01:56, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Better Understanding of Some Emblem Locations (2.0)
This article or section contains a spoiler, an unlockable, or a secret. Please leave the page if you do not wish to view spoilers. |
If no one understands how to get the Sonic emblem in THZ2, think of Knuckles' old one... on the top part of the pipe leading to the Emerald Token. To get there, you need to float on the outtake of the pipe leading from the E.T. area. You MUST be in jumping form ready to thok. When you are about to hit the ceiling, 2/3 up, thok. The updraft apparently makes you float while thoking. You're thoking me, right?
The Sonic emblem in DSZ1 is also misleading, as people would think of a "water slide" being the current leading to the Tails emblem. Wrong. It's not on that out-of-reach platform in the "V" Room. If Sonic takes the upper route in the (2nd) room after the first pair of crushers, that leads to a "water slide", and if you hug the right wall, jump, and thok leftward, you'll see the Sonic emblem with 2 "10-ringers" (my term of Super Ring Monitors). Again with the thoking...
If you're attempting Knuckles' DSZ1 emblem, you better have a fast PC. Framerate can kill (literally) in that room with the emblem. Since v2.0 doesn't support hardware acceleration, the game will lag. Just a precaution. The explanation of its location is correct. Rjsec4ever 01:32, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
You know what? If you have something to add, you might as well edit the actual page. --SpiritCrusher 05:58, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
Heh? It's been edited. Well, thanks anyway. :) Rjsec4ever 21:53, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
Layout
So I've decided to help out doing screencaps of emblem locations, but I need some help on the layout. Any ideas? I'm currently using the gallery, as left- and right-aligning them would result with a lot of space. Rjsec4ever 07:27, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Now I believe I got the hang of it. Thanks. Rjsec4ever 20:15, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
