2.0:SRB2CB/Thing types/Thing type 440
Thing type 440, Bubble Shield Monitor, is a monitor exclusive to SRB2CB that gives the player the Bubble Shield from Sonic 3 upon its destruction. When a player with this shield presses Spin in mid-jump, they will fall towards the ground and bounce off as if they were bouncing off an enemy. Even though they don't uncurl, they will be vulnerable after bouncing. Note that due to a bug, players can bounce off harmful surfaces, including death pits, unharmed. This shield also makes the player invulnerable to water damage and drowning, but it does not make the player invulnerable to enemy shots like its Sonic 3 counterpart.
Checking the Ambush flag turns this monitor into a Weak Random Monitor. Checking the Special flag turns it into a Strong Random Monitor.
