Level Load doesn't work with all linedef executors, is it intended?
I'm afraid Level Load doesn't work with all linedef executors, I don't know if it's intended or not. It seems there are some kinds of linedef executors that are allowed to be "executed" by Level Load and others not. For example, I tried to use "Play Sound Effect" (LD 414) and "Change Sky" (LD 423) with delay, both didn't work; on the other hand, some plane movement and lighting linedefs worked fine; and some other linedefs (e.g. "Award Custom Power") will cause the game sigsegv after the delay.
If it's intended, we'd better make a list of linedef executors that can be executed by Level Load. I don't like to lose time trying to figure out why some obvious setups don't work. If I were warned beforehand that some combinations aren't working, I could move on to try something else, like a gargoyle box. Just saying. --Ezer'Arch|עֶזֶר'AρχTalk 14:08, 18 February 2012 (CST)
Now sounds not playing on level load is outright bull. Almost every SRB2 Kart map does it. --D00D64 the "rather brash" indivisual 15:06, 18 February 2012 (CST)
There was probably some tag number clash in the wads I've been working on or flipped linedefs, not sure though.
