This article lists all templates that are available on the SRB2 Wiki, along with a description of their usage. For information on making templates, see Help:Editing/Templates.
Page messages
- Broken feature – For features that do not work in the current version of SRB2.
- Disambiguation – For disambiguation pages. Place at the bottom of the page.
- End spoilers – Ends spoilers. Use only when not at the end of the page.
- Locked – For protected pages that may only be edited by staff. Directs regular users to the talk page to discuss changes to make.
- Locked talk page – For talk pages that have been protected from editing for a given reason.
- Note – To show a note that the user should know about, relevant to the article.
- Spoilers – Use before telling spoilers.
- Warning – To highlight very important notes that the user should know about, relevant to the article.
Link templates
- Anchor – Creates a section link that is independent of a section title.
- ArticleExtension – For hiding the arrow symbol when using extensions in article links.
- Cite web – For citing sources.
- Click – When a displayed image should link to a different page than the image page.
- Examplewad – Links to an example WAD in the binary map format.
- ExamplewadUDMF – Links to an example WAD in the UDMF map format.
- For – When there are different purposes for a term, directs to another article covering said purpose.
- Main – Directs to a main article for deeper info.
- Otheruses4 – Directs to disambiguation pages for terms that have multiple meanings.
- Redirect – When there are different purposes for a term that redirects to this article, directs to another article covering said purpose.
- See also – Directs to another article for additional info.
- Source code path – For linking to SRB2's source code on GitHub.
- Userlogs – Links to the logs for a specific user.
- Walkthroughpic – Links to walkthrough pictures.
Maintenance templates
- Confirm – When an article contains statements whose correctness is doubted.
- Delete – When proposing to delete an article. Please detail your reasons on the talk page when using this.
- Needs images – When an article needs more images.
- Needs samples – When an article needs more example WADs.
- Old – For articles that have not been updated to reflect the release of 2.2.
- Rewrite – For poorly written or formatted pages or sections. They should be rewritten to comply with the Manual of Style.
- Screenshot retake – For screenshots that need to be retaken.
- Split – When proposing to split an article into multiple articles. Please detail your reasons on the talk page when using this.
- Stub – For stubs. The article has the necessary core information on its topic, but can be fleshed out with more content.
- Todo – To leave notes on what needs to be done with an article.
- Unfinished – For incomplete articles.
- Unfinished private – For incomplete articles; when the author of the article wants to finish it themselves.
Formatting templates
- Clear – Moves following content below any object floating to the left or right.
- Div-placeholder – Specifies a strict width and height for a certain element inside a table.
- Hide text – For text that is hidden by default and only shows up by opening up a box.
- Lrh – Shortcut template for left-aligned header columns. By default, header columns are center-aligned.
- Menu – Shortcut template for formatting menu locations.
- No – Shortcut template for "No" cells.
- Partial – Shortcut template for "Partial" cells.
- Tooltip – Adds a tooltip that becomes visible when moving the mouse over the text.
- Wrongtitle – For articles whose titles are incorrect due to technical restrictions. Displays the correct title at the top of the page.
- Yes – Shortcut template for "Yes" cells.
Infoboxes
- FOF info – Used for showing the attributes of FOFs.
- Infobox CVG – When documenting video games.
- Infobox WAD editors – When documenting WAD editors.
- Level header – Used for showing the information that is specified in the level header.
- Level specs – Used for showing technical information for levels.
- Linedef info – Used for showing details for the usage of linedef specials.
- Object info – Used for showing technical details for an Object.
- Custom character tutorial – For Custom character tutorial subpages; place at the top and bottom of the page.
- Custom Object tutorial – For Custom Object tutorial subpages; place at the top and bottom of the page.
- Flats and textures – For Flats and textures subpages; place at the top and bottom of the page.
- Game modes – For Game modes pages; place at the bottom of the page.
- Help – For Help namespace subpages; place at the top and bottom of the page.
- Level Design 101 – For Level Design 101 subpages; place at the top and bottom of the page.
- Lua – For Lua pages; place at the bottom of the page.

- ! – Allows the encoding of "|" within template parameters.
- Dablink – Gives consistent formatting (indented italic fonts) to message templates.
- Infobox – Blueprint for templates; used by certain infoboxes.
- Navbox – Blueprint for templates; used by certain infoboxes.
- Tnavbar – Part of the Navbox template.
Miscellaneous templates
- Color – A template for coloring text with CSS colors.
- Thankyou – An example template for the Help:Editing/Templates page. Not supposed to be used elsewhere.
- Unsigned – For posthumously signing unsigned posts.
