Tortured Archives

MAPB3, Eruption Conduit Zone Act 1, is the first act of the second zone in Tortured Planet. Its theme is similar to Techno Hill Zone Act 1, as it consists of a polluted landscape leading up to a factory. However, in this stage, the landscape is overrun by lava and dried out. It is the only single player stage in Tortured Planet that was completely scrapped and remade, although the new version is modeled after the old one.

Special Stage Token

To get this token, you will have to take the hidden path in the first room, which leads up to the cave in the side of the cliff. After the Star Post, look down on the lava lake directly below. You should notice a pipe protruding out of the side of the cliff. Jump down onto the top of this pipe, and spindash into the wall just above it. Although there is no visual clue telling you so, this wall is bustable, and conceals a secret hole in the wall containing the token.

Emblem locations

Sonic

This emblem is found in the big storage room with all the boxes. It is in the elevated tunnel revealed by pushing a box into the wall. Tails and Knuckles can easily reach this section with their abilities, but Sonic has to perform a complex task to make this area accessible. Explore the tops of the higher-up box stacks until you find a secret passage that leads into a room with a green button depicting the blades of a spinning fan. When you press this button, it increases the power of the line of fans placed far below the tunnel with the pushable box. They are now, in fact, strong enough to blow you all the way up to the tunnel. Push the box, and grab the emblem from the side tunnel.

Tails

Go to the area just outside the factory entrance, and get onto the platform with the Elemental Shield. Jump off, as though heading to the factory, but then fly upwards and turn back towards the wall. There is an even higher platform which has the emblem.

Knuckles

Start off just like you did to get Tails's emblem, but this time, grab the Elemental Shield, jump down into the bed of lava, and go into the pipe entrance. Once you reach the beginning of the gas jet hazard section, turn right, and climb up the vertical section. There is a small tunnel at the top that contains the emblem.
