Special Stage Damage

Sector type 11, Special Stage Damage, is a sector type that is used in Special Stages. It subtracts 5 seconds from the player's countdown timer, and removes or damages any shield the player is carrying.
Although the effect is not restricted to Special Stages and can be used in any gametype, it generally only makes sense to use it in Special Stages in the non-NiGHTS format.
Type of sector | Behavior |
---|---|
In-level sector | Damages players when they touch the floor |
Solid FOF control sector | Damages players when they touch the FOF top (sides and bottom are safe) |
Intangible FOF control sector | Damages players when anywhere inside the FOF |
Water FOF control sector | Damages players when anywhere inside the FOF |
